What We Do
Lobbying for Peace was founded out of a deep commitment to peace and a profound sense of humanity, driven by the urgent need for a decisive action among policymakers to address the world’s conflicts.
As an international non-governmental organization, we focus on advocating for the implementation of policies that promote peace, conflict prevention, and conflict resolution. By engaging with policymakers and amplifying the call for peace, we aim to ensure that these policies are prioritised and acted upon.
Our world needs peace. We, at Lobbying for Peace, believe that solutions to world’s conflicts are attainable. We believe that solutions, first and foremost, begin in the hands of world leaders.
Our Mission
Lobbying for Peace is committed to achieving global peace through political influence, strategic advocacy, and multilateral collaboration. Our mission is to champion the development and implementation of policies that address the world’s conflicts and foster sustainable peace.
By actively engaging policymakers and key stakeholders, we aim to shape policy priorities through engagement with relevant actors and stakeholders, fostering participation in conflict resolution processes. Our goal is to operationalise strategies that lead to sustainable peace and the effective resolution to conflicts.
Our advocacy focuses on diplomacy, non-violent solutions, and integrated approach. They are at the forefront of our efforts to address global challenges at every level of governance.
Our Vision
Our vision is a world where policymakers and world leaders boldly prioritise the pursuit of peacebuilding, conflict prevention, and conflict resolution with a sense of urgency, placing the well-being of humanity above political agendas and personal interests. We envision a future where leaders unwaveringly advocate for justice and diplomacy, confronting global challenges through collaboration and accountability, free from fear of political repercussions.
“By peace we mean the capacity to transform conflicts with empathy, without violence, and creatively - a never-ending process.”
— Dr. Johan Galtung
